  1. -• KINGS OF MIDGARD •- LORE (Kings of Midgard: Odin’s Pursuit of Ymir) (Season 2) Kings of Midgard: Vili and the Escape of Bergelmir (Season 3) Kings of Midgard: Ve’s Ode to Frigg (Season 4) Kings of Midgard: Ash and Elm’s Nativity ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Kings of Midgard (KOM) is a four-phased RSS main event with each phase representing an “Arc”. Each Arc runs for approximately 5-6 weeks which comprises of eight (8) regular War of Emperium (WoE), and one (1) Wildcard WoE. Each Arc corresponds one castle map namely Valkyrie Realm, Greenwood Lake, Britoniah, and Luina. ROAD TO ROYALTY: Each War of Emperium (WoE) lasts for two hours every Wednesday and Saturday from 09:00pm to 11:00pm GMT+8. One (1) Second Edition (SE) agit and two (2) First Edition (FE) agits are open every WoE. The pair of agits for Wednesdays differ from that of Saturdays. Each participating guild must have their own guild members. All guilds must be active in the clashes. The SE agit will be reset every Wednesday and Saturday at 01:00am GMT+8. The top 6 guilds at the end of each arc will bring the battle to the GvG (56v56) arena. Both the top 1 and top 2 guilds shall be given the privilege of automatically securing their spot in the semi-finals. The top 3 and 4 will have a twice to beat advantage in the elimination round against the top 5 and 6 guilds, from which, 5 and 6 will be via the wildcard system. The final guild standing in the arena shall be declared as the Kings for the said arc. The titles “Heart Kings of Valkyrie Realm”, “Clover Kings of Greenwood Lake”, “Spade Kings of Britoniah”, and “Diamond Kings of Luina” are to be bestowed upon the respective winners of each arc. A guild can be a King for only ONE (1) arc. They can still participate in the succeeding arcs’ WoE and Arc Finals. However, if they, again, win in the Arc Finals*, prizes will be given to the said guild, but the representative of the current arc will be the 1st runner up guild. After the completion of all four (4) arcs, a championship match at the GvG arena takes place. The four Kings will be settling everything in a 1v4, 2v3 match. The winner shall be crowned as the Kings of Midgard. *Arc Finals is the GvG at the end of each arc. SCORING AND POINT SYSTEM: Merits: +2 Second Edition (SE) castle ownership +1 First Edition (FE) castle ownership +1 Longest defending guild for SE agit (single defense) +1 Participation Demerits: -2 For the Top 1 guild, should they fail to secure the open SE agit for that day. They can still conquer the FE agits. -1 If a guild owns the same FE castle for two consecutive WoE days. Stigma: Only one agit can be owned per guild per WoE. If a guild owns two or more agits, all agit ownership points will be void and only the participation point of 1 shall be added to the guild’s score for the said WoE day. A guild cannot own the same First Edition (FE) castle for two consecutive Wednesdays or Saturdays. No point shall be given to the said guild and the aforementioned demerit applies. If the SE castle holder is also the longest defending guild, the point for the longest def will also be void. Sample WoE Scenarios: WILD CARD SYSTEM: Two guilds from the top 5 onwards with a minimum score of 8 are qualified. The Wildcard System is comprised of two: Wildcard WoE and Wildcard Voting Wildcard WoE: At the end of the arc, there will be a Wildcard WoE. The castle holder of the special Wildcard Agit will fill in the top 5 slot. Wildcard Voting: Players can vote for their guilds with their Ymir Coins (1 Ymir is equal to 125 points) and Zeny (20,000z is equal to 100 points). The participating guild with the most number of votes at the end of the voting period will take the top 6 slot. Everyone can immediately start voting for their guilds since voting period will be opened at the beginning of the KOM season. The Wildcard Voting scores will also be used as tie breaker in cases of a tie in the ranks. ARC FINALS GVG: The top 1-6 guilds are the contenders for the GvG. As mentioned above, the top 1 and 2 guilds automatically qualify for the semi-finals. The top 3 and 4 guilds, with their twice to beat advantage, will go against the top 5 and 6 guilds in the elimination round. Each match from the eliminations to the semi-finals is race to 2, best of 3 with the final match being race to 3, best of 5. The official venue for the GvG is the RSS Arena. Map flags tailored for guild war events are applied. It is the responsibility of the guilds to check their potions, buffs, other usable items, equipment and internet connection. Upon recall, GM staff will ask the participants if they are ready, if they need another recall, or should they call for a disconnection. All guilds are given a 1-minute buffer before the battle proper starts. A 10-second countdown signals the battle. The time limit for each round’s battle proper is 15 minutes. The guild who can wipe-out their opponent earns a point for the round. Should there be no wipe out in the 15-minute time limit, the side with more number of members wins the round. KINGS OF MIDGARD: ODIN'S PURSUIT OF YMIR - SEASON FINALE NIGHT A Decisive Battle Between the Arcs The four Kings from the previous respective arcs will again face each other in a decisive arena battle for the title Kings of Midgard. The same guidelines apply for the Arc Finals with additional mechanics as follows: Each arc is assigned a number from 1-4, with the first arc being 1, the second arc 2, and so on. The preset match will be 1 vs 4, and 2 vs 3. Double elimination system will be observed during the championships, with the winner’s bracket having a +1 advantage in the final round. The last guild standing shall reign supreme and victorious as the Kings of Midgard (Season 1). REWARDS: (To be updated) LET THE ADVENTURE TO GREATNESS BEGIN!!
